Payment Terms

Please be advised that the payment the invited guest will make to this birthday party is in lieu of a birthday gift. The invited guest will enter their credit card information and enter any amount that they may wish in the payment section. The ECHOage payment system automatically defaults to $20.00 for the payment made by the invited guest towards the birthday party, however the decision as to how much the invited guest would like to contribute to the birthday party is at the discretion of the invited guest.

Refund Policy
Please be advised that the ECHOage website and party hosts do not refund money that has been paid by invited guests. All payments made by invited guests are non-refundable.

Delivery
After all the invited guests have made their payments towards the birthday party, ECHOage will calculate the total funds contributed towards the birthday party. ECHOage will deduct 15% from the total amount accumulated for administration costs. The balance of the funds will be divided, with 50% of the available funds being delivered by ECHOage by cheque to the party host for the purpose of purchasing a birthday gift. The remaining 50% of the available funds (the "Donation Amount") will be delivered by ECHOage by cheque to the charity selected by the parent of the birthday boy or girl. The parent of the birthday boy or girl will receive a charitable donation tax receipt directly from the charity selected for the entire Donation Amount. The payment made by ECHOage to the party host and by ECHOage to the charity selected by the party host will be made within 21 days after the party host has closed the party for contributions.

Charitable Contribution
This website provides the party host with the opportunity to make a charitable contribution in connection with the party or event being celebrated.  The charitable contribution may be made at the party host’s option, however there is no obligation for any party host to make a charitable contribution relating to the ECHOage event.  In the event that the party host elects to make a charitable donation relating to the ECHOage event the donation shall be deemed to have been made by the party host and the charitable donation receipt shall be issued in the name of the party host.

Currency
Payments made for parties hosted in Canada are in Canadian dollars.  Payments made for parties hosted in United States are in US dollars.
