I chose Raising the Roof because whenever I go downtown I see a lot of homeless people on the streets in the winter and I can't imagine what it would be like not to have shelter when it is so cold. I wanted to find a way to help them and my mom suggested ECHOage.
I wanted to save up for my own laptop computer because I am doing most of my homework on the computer and I always have to share with everyone in my family which isn't always convenient.
